I know u like Tampa, but they’re gonna be hard enough to beat without Tavares
We should be hoping he goes out west |

He's like a younger ROR, with less offensive ability (so far) - TheSabresTaco
I'm going to have to disagree with you he's nothing like ROR he was projected to be a Jason spezza type
But like you said he's still young and developing |

absolutely...for $660k ... yes sir,
for 4th line, who can play up if needed...yes sir
but hey, let's promote a bust who can't figure out the AHL
Seriously? WTF - IonSabres
I can't wait for nylander to prove you wrong |

I'm not even going to debate Wilson I really don't care..
More things to worry about than a fourth line player
we get our top two lines done and the 3rd line
first - gerbe75pts
That's fine, but if you're going to get that bent out of shape over Scott Wilson coming back, you should tell us why it's a bad thing, straight from Gerbe Island |

I get where they were coming from,
but Moulson was done with us as soon as he was loaned to another AHL team
He wasn’t gonna prevent anyone from wearing #26 |

They want to avoid arb. They hope to bring him back. - TheSabresTaco
Ah, thank you. That clears it up. If I was the player, though, I'd be pissed. That's kind of a crap move. |

If you're looking at this roster now how could John Tavares sign there he be better off signing in Tampa Bay or Boston with the young core - gerbe75pts
I don't see how TB can sign JT long term.
Their entire defense is UFAs next year besides Hedman and Sergachev. Koekkoek is a RFA right now.
Kucherov and Point are both RFAs after this year. Will both demand at least 7-8M AAV. |

I pray that you are right on Nylander...
I want nothing more than for him to sit on Casey or Eichel's wing and just pot 30 out of no where as everyone is keying on them.

2015 characteristics. Average skating, elite vision, good play making ability, favors wrist shots over slappers, big bodied, lesser leader, favors a slower, trodding game than a full blown offensive type. |

Fine sign him just don't play him on the 2nd or 1st |

I would trade for him but if we were doing a trade with the coyotes we would have done it at the draft when they took a player that was ranked in the second round |

Confirmed teams that John Tavares will meet with this week at CAA offices in L.A.: Dallas, Boston, San Jose, Toronto, Tampa (plus of course NYI). The Tavares camp will also have conversations with 2-3 other teams over the phone and perhaps also meet with 1-2 - gerbe75pts
I guess we won’t get to see that line of
Moulson-Tavares-Okposo
that a certain someone was pumping up

There was no question in my mind he was getting 26, he’s the first overall pick, and moulson is gone- no brainer.

We have to go through Tampa to get to the ECF
We do NOT want them to get Tavares
They’re already gonna be tough enough to beat |

Me and you both know about working out if you look at his images last year he beefed up for the upcoming season with his brother and then he got injured basically destroying everything he did in the summer because he just had to sit there and recover and now he was playing the catchup game to get back to his game
I guarantee you he's going to make the team out of training camp and he's going to shut everyone up |

There's a huge difference between being a main fixture and filling in. Injuries happen. Scott Wilson can absolutely fill in anywhere. But, you are right in the sense that he should not be situated in the top 6.
Right there is where you realize his value. A guy who should be playing bottom 6 but CAN slide into the top 6 for spot relief is a guy worth his >1M paycheck. |
