The Blackhawks have not tendered a qualifying offer to RFA Anthony Duclair yet. They have until 4 pm, but indications are they're going to let Duclair, Tomas Jurco and Michael Chaput become UFAs.

Anyone interested in Duclair?

I'd take Duclair here in a heartbeat. His weird fall from glory either means that teams figured out how to beat him or he has been regulated to lines that don't take advantage of his traits.

He was on Grigorenko's wing in Quebec for 3 seasons under Roy when he potted over 100 goals in about 170 games. His last season with Grigorenko was a 99 pt effort.

and they don’t have anyone else who can be their starter

Between LA and SJ both teams are gearing up this year for their last shot before they go into the rebuild darkness.

LA has 16MM in cap space next year and need to resign Doughty, Kempe, Iafallo, Brickley.

They have so little cap space. I think less than $3MM

They need to move someone, IMO.

They have Campbell and Petersen. Not sure if either are ready for full time.

Seems like a well timed calculated moved on Paciorettys part.
