If its for 3-3.5MM a season sure. But anything more I would be hesitant.

If Lehner got 4 mil and he wasn't an UFA with multiple teams bidding on him I think it is safe to assume Hutton is going to get more than 3-3.5 and even 4 Mil

i never realized he was that old.. he also has always played for teams that are defense orientated in the NHL... i would be very hesitant to offer him anything too long or high salary.. 3-3.5 for 2 years is where it should be at most..

So we're keeping McCabe but losing that 1st rounder. I'm indifferent on that, given how good Nelson and Pilut is. I don't want to see him go, but we might not need McCabe any longer.
