I followed everyone of his 27 goals this season. His shot was impressing everyone at last years development camp. So unless you broke the news a year ago you didn’t surprise anyone. I wish I bookmarked all my threads calling him the dark horse to make this team months ago. I also made a bold prediction Kotkaniemi would be a top 10 pick in March when he was ranked 18th on MyNHLDraft.com.

I'll take Baptiste in the bottom 6, but it's probably time to move on from at least one of these guys. They still have some value, but if they don't break out this year, that value will be gone.

So he’s not saying anything... I still think he is on this team and won’t get traded... just can’t see them going with jack and Casey as top two centers and nothing much at #3 and 4 ( until aspland is ready) We’ll see.

A week before the draft I also made a comment in one of the threads comparing the Centre position to the QB position in football saying how Centres are going to go earlier then people think. I also said don’t be surprised to see Hayton go top 10 ( Arizona 5th overall).
