OTT should be trading Karlsson and Stone to COL for Soderberg and their 1st back. - Feds91Stammer
This isn't a real suggestion right? Like, in your mind, you don't actually think this is reasonable?

That might get you Karlsson.
It wouldn't include Stone.
People act as if Ott's 1st next year is a guarantee to Jack Hughes. You understand how the lottery works right? I don't expect Ottawa to be great next year given the current circus, but even without Karlsson, I still think Ottawa is a better team than others in the league- say, Detroit.
That's not meant to be disrespectful, but outside of Larkin, who is really lighting up Detroit?
Back to the point- even if you don't believe me that Ottawa will be better than last- it's still only an 18.5% chance at Hughes. It's a lottery ball. A heavily weighted one, but a lottery ball.

Pierre Mcguire said on the radio this morning that Colin white projects out as a 60-70 point player.. so things are looking up - senstroll
So a guy that has worse stats than Vesey is going to be good, first line, NHL player? |

Too funny. Sens made run to Conference finals. I was more than happy to celebrate. So, now a year later you want to talk about a new paradigm with the old set of variables. Sens are in a rebuild mode. It is a reality, deal with it. - spatso
There are pages and pages and pages of you going on about how the Sens future was so much brighter than the Leafs.
It was embarrassing Spatso.
Only a person with no dignity could continue to post here after your epic, and continuous derp. |

Don't agitate the Leaf fans. They miss me and they come here to chatter about things that are not appropriate to this thread. I do my best not to feed them. - spatso
So, in other words, you have nothing left to fight with since you proven to be so utterly stupid? |

I think it's really funny how the Leafs fans have done this 180 over the last two years, and have this holier than thou attitude against everyone else.
Is your future looking bright? Yes.
Have you achieved anything yet? No.
As dim as everything is around our franchise is right now (and we'd be the first to tell you that), we've accomplished significantly more than the Leafs have in the 25 years of the franchise's existence.
You haven't won a playoff round in 15 years. - Jordo
You mad Bro?
You would have fit right in in the Leafs vs. Sens thread.
D'oops also like to handpick time frames in the past when he had nothing about the present or future to come back with.

The leafs were a mess until the 'Shanaplan' to be fair. Now they're where they should be, an up and comer with a chance to win. The Sens. tire fire all day until this front office smartens up, can't move forward with these trades that just keep coming to bite you in the rear end! |

It will get done this summer. Alfredssen will come in to head up hockey operations. - spatso
Good Lord, spell his name right at least.
Yeah, he will fix everything. People will be flocking to go play for or watch a team run by Crusty the Clown. |

It needs to start with a new owner for the Sens, hope that owner doesn't move the team (don't think the NHL will allow this). Then hire some good hockey people at the top.
That doesn't mean Alfreddson. Look how well the alumni worked out for Edmonton. |

Alfie is only good to appease fans and be a face for the franchise, in no way would him coming back mean the on ice product to get better, well other than him being back means better chance of keeping 65.
A new owner is a given, maybe the Demarais group? Then again Uncle Eugene is stubborn... |

Probably our top goal scorer Anthony Mantha. You know the guy OTT passed on for Lazar
Not sure what DET sucking has to do with OTT sucking though. |

It's in reference to other teams that could be in the basement with the Sens if they're as bad as some suspect. |

I think Ryan is over paid but honestly if we can keep him from breaking his fingers, i think he could be a serviceable top line winger still, he's liked in the room and the community... nothing wrong with that.
I still think PD has a deal with Karlsson and it just can't be announced until July 1st. - Maverick1818
I was holding out hope for this as well, but I can't for the life of me figure out why a) EK would not be pictured on the "hometown tour" (or whatever it is called) trailer, and b)why none of the connected guys have remotely mentioned an extension, when literally nothing is ever a secret anymore

I mean DET was better last year and they didn't lose anyone like OTT lost Hoffman.
I do predict both will suck again and be near the bottom 5. |

I hope for you guys that a new owner is forthcoming. Your fanbase doesn't deserve the circus. After 40+ years of watching the Leafs be a gong show, I wouldn't wish that on anyone (except JordAlfieSpazz'Dopps ) |

Zadina will probably be an immediate help too.
But maybe Tkachuck will too, I mean it's possible. |

To be fair there is a huge picture of EK's face on the side of Canadian Tire Center facing the 417 |

Yes but that has been there awhile, no? They obviously wouldn't remove any of that stuff before trading him, but it is concerning that any new material wouldn't include our captain/best player/face of the franchise.. |

Come on, we all know that’s not true. When 99% of the fans in your own barn were cheering for the Leafs, I’m sure you weren’t feeling bad for them...

Yes it was put up a while ago. Personally I think they should take it down, it's a terrible picture and he needs a hair cut and shave really bad.... They should put that in his contract, must get hair cut and shave that stupid stash hahahaha
But, who knows Karlsson has been in the media non stop. Maybe they have an agreement and the only people who know about it are him, PD and EM. So the media team is just playing it safe. Maybe the Media team is just trying to pump up the young rookies and have them build a name for themselves. Maybe Karlsson requested to get out of the front line media for the summer.... who knows.
I guess we'll find out in a couple of days. |
