I have a feeling we will be underwhelmed by the return for RoR but I think we will be better with him off the roster.

There are just too many coinciding rumors about RoR not cooperating with management and other teammates and he did the exact same thing in Colorado.

I want a trade with Minny. Zucker, dumba, nino. Plus they seem to always want to trade with us.

We would need to take Ennis back but throw him in Rochester.

I would love to get Zucker and/or Dumba in a ROR trade. Zucker would definitely solve our LW problem. At first I thought that Minny didn't need any centers so this wasn't an option but I noticed some Minny fans say they would love to trade for ROR even in a trade for Zucker. I'm not sure why Minny would let Zucker go unless they can't afford/agree on an Extension with him, but I would love him on this team. I wouldn't mind Dumba either he would also add to our RD, which needs help. Again not sure why they would trade him but I think he may be in a situation similar to Zucker. I would prefer that over a Trade with St. Louis, but we will see.

I would love me some JVR. Basically would replace ROR's offensive production (55-65 points yearly.) JVR + Sheary is a nice top 2 LW from where we came from, and allows us to move ROR for Parayko + Berglund (my hope) +. Let the kids keep simmering and call them up when they show they deserve it, a la Pitt.

I don't think Berglund is an option in a St. Louis trade given he has a 20 team no trade list and I doubt we are one of the 11 teams he would go too. I would also prefer getting Riley Nash to play 3C and see if we can get a LW in a trade or within because paying JVR what he most likely would want is not a good idea, plus from what Leafs fans have been saying he isn't worth paying in the first place.

I took a Look at this Calculator that totals the amount of $ JT would get from each of the 6 Teams he talked to and it looks like he will make the least amount of Money after taxes signing with Toronto then any of the other teams, some by a wide margin.

Parakyo is a potential Norris level defensman. You'd have a hard enough time getting him in a 1 for 1 deal for ROR.
