Honestly if we pay the bonus, unless we are blown away like a 1st and Thomas I rather just keep him this year. His value will pretty much stay the same next offseason. Year older but 1 less year off big contract

I found out today that it's starting to get past the point of repair with ROR and management. They may need to move him regardless and it might be best for all. I'd like to keep him but it may be time, there is more to it also.

I don’t want to give him away just to do it. Although I am in the camp that I wouldn’t mind futures as long as they were good ones, not just pieces

My money's on TBL or staying put. TBL would get him closest to winning the cup, plus he'd get to play with his buddy Stamkos.

Then we turn around and flip Nylander and a pick for Skinner ? I’m probbaly overthinking this but something to spitball about I guess

A player on a 1-year contract cannot be re-signed until January 1. So they couldn't do it the next day.

I can definitely see him having a big ego. He was moved from the Avs cause Landeskog got the “C” and Duchene got the big deal while he was struggling to get what he felt he deserved in contract talks with the Avs. Probably a rift with a Eichel and wanting the “C” and not getting it would be my guess.

There's no way they are sharing with the players, especially a 20 year old who isn't close to demanding THAT kind of respect, what they are doing, trade wise. No way in hell.

Well i'm going to catch hell for this from some but here goes, My uncle and his friend with the Sabres are at Harbor Center watching the rookie camp ( good pics by the way he sent me) and he called to talk with me and I asked more about ROR. He said the Blues are still talking with the Sabres like they have been for over a month now, as are the Habs and Canes just not as long as the Blues.

He told me that according to his friend it's getting to the point they are going to have to move ROR whether they want to or not, it's getting past the point of talking things out and moving along.There's a lot involved with ROR and mangament. Some teammates also have some issues with him.

Sabres as of now will pay the 7.5 he's owed.

Have mercy on me folks, just passing it along.
