Am I the dense one? |

Which one of you is the Carter Hutton fan club president that I'm currently arguing with on FB? - Powerslave
He can be the next Tim Thomas, or he can be a good quality 50/50 guy
Either way they needed to address the goaltending situation and by all accounts he is good in the locker room which will help Ullmark.
I think it's a solid pick up for the Sabres |

Are you kidding me?!
O'Reilly is the poster child for the "Joe Ferguson Hang Your Head" award. And the verbal vomit he spews after every loss?! Woe is me!!!
Give me a break. |

I cannot wait for this trade to happen, so we can argue about the return instead of the player |

If Pittsburgh decides to move Tristan Jarry is he someone the Sabres should try to get? I know he is a RFA and may still be waiver exempt this season which gives us a good starting goalie for Rochester and another option if Ullmark doesn't pain out. Looks like there is a chance Pittsburgh might trade him. |

So if/when ROR is traded what about a guy like Riley Nash to center the 3rd line and play tougher minutes? |

I get what you are saying, but ECHL isn't being traded, and ROR is just the most likely to be traded. That's why he's being heavily scrutinized from all angles, good and bad. Every player that's "on the block" gets some form of this. My view, like him as a player, leadership quality is an over rated metric, will shine with better players. At the end of the day, this franchise suffered for a McJesus or an ECHL talent, not ROR. Hopefully if dealt, he gets back meaningful pieces. |

Three things the NHL needs.
Club/player option contracts.
Non - fully guaranteed contracts.
Limit the NTC/NMC clause to years in league. AKA you don't get one until you have 5 years in the league. 5 Years 10 teams, 8 years 12 teams, 10 years full NTC/NMC - ImThatGuy
I don't think in a million years the PA would ever give that up in any negotiation.
They have the 100% safe contracts the players wont give that up, unless salaries absolutely skyrocket, even then id doubt it would happen.
It would be absolutely great for the game tho. |

I forgot who tweeted it earlier but I think it was Jeremy White, he said Lehner was also a pretty big issue in the locker room.
Very negative always yelling, throwing teammates under the bus and complaining |

Then I guess we should trade Eichel, what an excellent idea, I guess kids have to immediately know everytihn as soon as they step onto the ice.
Its called growing up, Im sure everyone on hear did stuff when they were a kid that they look back on and just shake their head. You learn and grow as a person as you age.
ROR was brought in to be a leader, whether Im in the locker room or not I think that's an agreeable point, yes he did the faceoff practises and all that, but if he was really a great leader and cared only about the team, hed have the "C" already and we wouldnt be having this discussion.
You don't like when ppl put all the blame on ROR, seems your pretty sure its all Jack's fault, pot meet kettle. |

I think Riley Nash would be a perfect grab for Buffalo. Out of all the UFAs he is the one I want Buffalo to grab the most. He won't cost a lot and can play center up and down the lineup without missing a beat, as he proved in Boston last season. |

How about we get rid of crappy players and let the good ones stay. |

So, one guy throws his teammates under the bus, the other guy sits in the corner sucking his thumb saying he has to be better, another turns red-faced at a press conference, one does blow, another is a pot head, one doesn't listen to his coaches, another misses Ted Nolan, another blames the team for his crappy stats in a contract year...
Am I forgetting anything?
And we don't know what goes on in the dressing room? Puh-leez. ๐๐๐ |
