Scary offense. How is that defense doing?

Well Tavares walks for nothing. And we were told how much his rights had so much worth.
- deadpoulet

That's atrocious asset management. How do you let an elite player like that walk for Richard all?

Yeah, but that fail of an organization might have gotten JT, yet they could not even get Matthew Peca signed to a contract.

So who is (frank)ing laughing now?

Habs also grabbed Chaput, he and Peca put Matthews and Tavares to shame!

Chaput and Ouellet were signed to shut up the French media.

Peca was a hockey signing.

Peca is still an undersized, less productive Chris Terry.

JT 7y x$11M.... I bet he left a lot of money on the table.

Guess he did want to go home... first time someone did.

What do you mean?

Mtl needs to rebuild and be patient. Bergevin kept all of his picks and he had a lot. No big UFA here either.

I'm talking Price, weber and patches. Whats the point of them being here?

not sure how. They only way to go now is to go full rebuild and hope we get better at talent evaluation. This team is now AT MINIMUM 2 to 3 years from being any good.

Pacioretty should be moved soon
Weber could be but I think they'll wait
Price is next to impossible

Bergevin is an idiot. He’s not rebuilding but he’s doing nothing to improve the team short term either. This roster as currently constructed and with a solid season from Price will likely see Montreal finish in the 15-20th overall range. He is steering this franchise into precisely the area that any well run organization wants to avoid at all cost.

I bet none get moved because MB thinks as long as you have Carey Price, you have a shot at the cup.
