When ur dealing with a player as long as the Isles have been dealing with JT. U should get some sought of feeling about whats on that players mind. That's part of the job of being a GOOD GM.
That A$$ Snow should have seen the writing on the wall & made a trade while JT was worth something. As usually he didnt pull the trigger & Snows still screwing over the team.

I dont have a crystal ball but with the way this has gone. JT is off to the Leafs.

I dont feel bad because he's not worth 8 yr @ mega bucks & Im sure the contract would be an albatross to the organization 4 yrs from now.

And Im not liking the way JT is handling this. Not fair to the Team or fans. But im sure team & fans are not even a consideration.

I really do feel for the fans -- they deserve to know something, one way or the other

It's 10:10. I respect the fact that this is a business negotiation -- I think every adult can understand that.

But you can't let this go past midnight without some kind of statement. Something. Because either he took the eight from the Islanders -- which people/fans deserve to know -- or he didn't, which certainly would indicate something decidedly less pleasant if you're a fan of the team

But the people who pay the freight, pay through the nose for tickets and merchandise, deserve to know something
