You must of not read my whole post...
Who’s to say Murray wouldn’t of drafted Dahlin and another D in second round this year too. Would he have stacked the D then? - Fattony1187
Well he definitely would’ve drafted Dahlin
Who knows what else he’d have done?
MY point is...
Murray failed with the Sabres defense & left us with very few prospects coming up
Botts OBVIOUSLY made stocking the defense a priority
Not only making trades,
but drafting defense early AND late
I guess we will see how it all works out
But there’s ZERO question that the defense now & for the future |

Ok, coming from the guy who thinks Murray was a good GM. Yea you told me hahahaha - Carubba-Kaleta
Again, when did I ever say he was good. I said he sucked by squandering assets. All I said was he prob would of drafted Dahlin too and let’s not anoint botts the savior.
Even for a troll you seem to lack the basic brain functioning. |

Hopefully Casey doesn't do too good this year I'm hoping we can sign him to an 8-year contract 6 million around there |

you seem pretty focused on my comments for someone who lacks brain functions. You'd think if someone is saying something that doesn't matter you'd just ignore them. Damn you're so salty I love it. |

I'm definitely not mishearing. Duffer said he heard that, and then Ray said he did too. And then RJ said something like "well when you have a guy who moves like that..." - jcragcrumple
Anyways on this : I honestly don't see it happening because the same situation happened with Brett Burns and Dustin Byfuglien and ended up back on defense
I don't know if he's a player that loves seeing the whole ice I would rather him be on the defense Core |

The only thing I think botts has done right so far is Casey.... if Pilut works out that’s two things, he’s trade to get scandella was okay... blow-u was bad, Kane trade was not good. Hoping he dosent screw up ROR. 2nd round pick this year seems like a good pick as well. Anyone would have picked Dahlin... so zero credit there ( agreed)

Murray was a bad GM just stop it. He gave a 1st for lehener which was a gift for his former team. Gave up mcnabb for trash, when we needed defense. They guy will likely never be a GM in the league again. Why do you keep defending him? - Carubba-Kaleta

How can you say Kane trade was bad before you actually see what/who we draft (or if he trades that pick) and how they develop? |

Hey I don't want to pay him 10 million lol
The goal is to get them cheap as possible so we can keep this core for a very long time |

So if he scored 30 goals this year you would be mad because he’s good enough to sign a high money contract? |

I'm expecting him to get 30 goals tbh I just don't want him to end up around the 78 - 88 Point range
If he ends up with 65 points this year hoping we could sign him to an 8-year contract 6. 5 million dollars around there |

Our LW still sucks, and we have 9 d. Guhle is probably a top-9 LW on this team |

A low first round pick and a 4th line guy for a 29 goal guy that pays a heavy game.... oh and who are we looking for now... yeah a scoring winger....brilliant move.

I really don't want to try it that's just desperation I'm pretty hopeful we're going to move some people and he's going to be a full-time player this year |

So a month ago when I said Mitts and Dahlin alone make us a better team everyone here was hesitant and how can a “rookie” make us better. How does everyone stand on that now ? Everyone starting to see the light now or what ? |

A. Guhle to forward is beyond stupid. He wasn’t an elite scorer for a D man in juniors. It will never work.
B. Who’s more likely for ROY, Mitts or Dahlin? |

So let me understand this you think Casey will score 30 goals this year and have 65 points you think we get him for 6.5, your freakin nuts... those are better numbers then our “ franchise 10 million dollar guy” has ever gotten.
