7am? Dafuq?
Why so late?
I took Ambien once at Brick Bar years ago... friend gave it to me for my "stress." Passed out within minutes. Had to be carried out.
Not my proudest moment. - BareMetal
It’s brick bar, you were one of at least 10 to be carried out that day, don’t sweat it.

I wanted one of Perron, Neal or JVR.
Looks like it’s down to Neal and Perron |

why according to some he is overated, and a terrible leader, straight to 31st will go the Bruins....we absolutely should trade him within the division....
- sabreswarpath
Well, truth be told,
He did have a leading role in destroying two (2), the only two (2) mind you NHL locker rooms he played in.
FOR this reason, I am hoping Toronto loses out on Travares and comes knocking for ROR ...theybwont, but I maintain hope.

Probably not much, but an AGM likely would. I know it's not the best example, but look at the Seguin trade. Chiarelli asked like 4 different guys. Very rarely are moves made unilaterally totally without input.
Let's say you're out with your buddies and your buddy says "that chick over there is super hot, go for it." and you look and go "why not?" and you wake up a couple of days later pissing razor blades. First of all, dummy, wrap up, second are you going to blame your buddy? Probably, but deep down you know you're the one that took the chance, and you're the one who has to bear the responsibilities, a penicillin shot in the rump.
Edit: I'm fully in the grasp of Ambien, so if that doesn't make any sense, I apologize. - Wetbandit1

Garth is bragging about how RoR is still a Sabre this morning.
This most certainly means the move is made today. |

I understand the $7.5m bonus being an issue holding things up so I get that aspect.
However, in the case of ROR specifically, the impact of JT's decision delay shouldn't hold up teams he is not considering including the Blues and Habs, the two most likely landing spots. Other than the bonus, it should be wide open sailing at 12:01 This morning when the Sabres were officially on the hook for it. Why would those GM's wait for A decision from JT? .. I dont get that aspect.
I could see JBotts slow-playing this to hopefully entice the other teams JT was considering like SJS and the Isles to enter a bid.
The longer this goes today, the less likely it is that a trade gets done IMO...especially if the rumored deal structure was already in-place. |

That’s the great thing about hyperbole. The more often you say it, the more true it becomes. |

David Perron getting paid by the Blues.
Not sure what that does to their cap as it pertains to ROR |

If the 4 years at $4M per is true, that is hardly a hindrance. |

I have a feeling McCabe is going with him the other way. Which is okay with me assuming it makes the return that much better. |

Chronic insomnia is a mother(frank)er. I'm like Tyler Durden, except I haven't met a handsome new best friend yet, thankfully.
I've tried everything, no caffeine at all, no booze, no electronics after a certain time, sitting in a dark room. Even with the sleeping pills, all of which I've tried at one point or another don't do a fantastic job. When it was really bad, even taking Ambien, I managed to stay awake for 60 hours with 2 1 hour very light naps. Days are like really long when you don't waste a third of it a sleep, lol - Wetbandit1
