Defense is not ready and you need to see what you have in some of those forwards you are developing. No idea who your goalie is.

JVR!!!! Great news. Now I can hang my autographed jersey back up. Hopefully the term isn't too long though. I'm an excited Flyers fan right now. Bonus: the Leafs got no assets for him.

Edit: Term length isn't too bad at 5 years. Money is decent at 7 considering the market. Hopefully it pays off

We had to swallow it when Umberger was here, when Wheels was here. When Matt Read went bad. As Flip's legs went.

When Raffl was miscast -- not his fault -- on L1. When Schenn got shipped off after a 55-point season.

They have gotten rid of almost every bad contract -- there's only one truly horrific one, in Lehtera. One year left. Weise is annoying but doesn't make enough to kill you. MacDonald can at least play.

The cap is in decent shape. Couturier and Ghost are on good deals. Patrick's on his ELC.

If it’s 5 years that’s a solid deal. I’d like to see how he would play in his first year after a contract season having just finished up for him but it’s not too bad.
