My brother started having seizures and he quit because of the meds too. I dropped my drinking down to virtually nothing because I broke up with my long-time gf who is an alcoholic. I'd seen enough, had enough myself. And my bro's seizures are due to a long-ago severe head injury from a drunk driver, so it's solidarity with him too. Started hanging out with sober people and doing stuff sober. It's actually really cool. Nice to see you back, I'll drink some club soda to your health.

Well, you guys got Dahlin, who projects to be a great top pairing defender. Hopefully he becomes a legit #1 for you guys. You've also got Eichel, who Leafs fans may mock a lot, but is still a damn good hockey player.

So you've got 2 young guys to hopefully be your #1 D and your #1 centerman. Those are probably the two hardest spots to fill. If you can find a reliable goalie and fill out the rest of the roster responsibly.... You guys could have a good team soon.

It's okay... was starting to feel a bit old with two guys in my band who were younger than my bass.... which I bought new.

Actually I gifted that bass to my guitarist since he loves collecting playable gear... and my amp to my drummer who needed one of his own for the jam space ... I'd rather have them used than collecting dust in the corner... kept my kingman acoustic tho... I'll never stop fully playing

Lol, I had to explain this to someone else recently. When you take out two players, you have two free roster spots to fill, not just one.

All JT has to do is be better defensively than Bozak (pretty much a given) and produce his usual offense while doing what he always does, make the players with him better. Whoever his linemates are will also produce offense and the line as a whole will be better than it ever was with JVR and Bozak.

Sucks for you guys he left, but he gave you 9 of his best years and did it for cheap. He's earned the right to go elsewhere.
