although Borgman in my opinion is the only D out of those seven (so not counting Liljegren) with real NHL potential. Even Holl is a bit of a stretch.
Borgman could be a good 3rd line D man for Leafs, I like him.

Borgman is physical which is what we need. Agreed I don't think we want him to go. Younger Polak type stay at home but can skate still. Needs experience more but solid bottom pair guy.

So Tavares on LEafs means Matt Martin will stay with the team with some 4th line minutes? That line isn't going to play more than 5mins game anyways with the other 3 lines being so good .

I'd actually prefer Borgman on the big squad this year. He was good enough for most of the season last year. Him and Rosen are both young and have plenty of NHL potential with a solid AHL season under their belts.

Can see Borgman up. Think Rosen is down hence keeping Carrick, get Rosen another solid Marlies season then he is up maybe?! Then again have good depth there too in case of injuries etc.
