Not looking to argue but investing is all risk reward. You can't get a high return like 20% without having a high risk. Also the economy is not booming. Markets this year have not been doing well at all. If you're invested in somethibg like mutual funds you're lucky if you're not down.

Hyman and Brown over Johnson for sure, and probably as well over Kapanen.
Don't understand how people still underestimate Hyman so much - look at his 5v5 numbers, primary assists and PK effectiveness, and you'll understand why he'll be a core piece of Leafs next 5y going forward.

Hyman is a valuable player but doesn't have the potential offensive upside of kapanen and Johnsson. They may never realize that potential.

This is the third of three spectacular things I thought I'd never see.

The first was drafting Mitch Marner.

Then, winning the lottery and getting Austen Matthews.

Now, the first true star player to leave his original team, during his prime, to take less money, accept more pressure and play for his home town team. Not even Niedermayer did what Tavares is doing as he had already won his Cups.

For this, I will forever be a fan of Tavares just for actually being crazy enough to do this.

I don't give a flying (frank) what any of you say, John Tavares is a Toronto Maple Leaf. That's all I care about. You can't pretend I didn't want him. I just didn't think he was crazy enough to do what nobody else has ever done. This team might actually be a contender now. The defense is still going to need work but they have all the assets they need to fix that in the form of moving Nylander.

(frank) it, go big and get Karlsson. I hope he tests the waters and becomes a UFA. Get Salming and Sundin in a video package. Keep this snowball rolling.
