Yeah man, I want the season opener to happen right now. I haven't even seen very much of Tavares play, and there's already so much talent to watch with the kids, it's going to be just a treat. There's gonna be a lot of highlight reel poop. The line combo possibilities are boneriffic.

There's been a few that give pause: Nylander for Faulk? No way. Nylander for Hanifin? Ekblad? Trouba? I'd really have to think about that hard.

Agree, I just feel like with possibilities that might be worth it, those teams aren't going to trade those D in the first place because they need them just as much.

I also feel like I think I appraise Nylander higher than a lot of people on here, and not just because of his beautiful (frank)ing eyes and hair. He gets kind of overshadowed by Marner's flashiness, and people would set the bar for a Marner trade much higher, but I think Nylander is really, really (frank)ing good too. It's a good problem to have.
