I'm disappointed he didn't get Thomas. We got more depth, but less real talent. The players we got back were a whole lotta meh. I hope the Eichel/ROR feud was real, because that's the only reason Botts should have pulled the trigger on this. We didn't get Schwartz, Fabbri, Parayko, Thomas or Kyrou.

We got their forward scraps, a b prospect, a first, and a 2nd almost 3 years from now

I agree with this. And this feels like a "I'm not done yet" type of move.

I think that we are just starting to get moving in a forward momentum. With the improvements on D already and possibly more to come, it should be a better year without a doubt.

Whoever is suggesting Risto to Edmonton is absolutely out of his "Gord". There is nothing there that would be an improvement to Risto.

Who the (frank) cares. We got a ton for pieces of ROR. We can use those to improve our team. Deal's done...moving on.

Like I said a month ago, the Blues were the first team to call and talk to the Sabres about ROR, just a feeling out process. Then a few more calls along with 3 other teams, there was a deal that Botterill said no to that involved Fabbri last week. They have no reason to trade Parayko or Kyrou and they won't move Schwartz.

Strong Prospect? I don't think you've seen Thompson play he has potential to be good but his skating sucks ass
