I’m not crazy about Tage only having 9 Pts in 41 games with the Blues this year but a lot of people said he was rushed.
64 Pts in 70 games at UCONN is pretty dang solid though.
Casey had 30 Pts in 34 games at Minn.
Maybe we are jumping.
Isn’t it true that picks that have conditions can’t be traded though being our STL AND SJS now? Is the STL one unprotected in 2020 just like SJS is if it gets pushed? - JVince11
Each 1st round pick has conditions in 2019, if met (other team keeps pick), then we get 2020 regardless. |

Don’t see why not. The new team just inherits conditions |

Botterill isn't done - SABRES 89
According to Gerbe, he is. This is the be all, end all. July 1st. We're done for the summer! DONE! There can't possibly be more moves! I live in Gerbeland, where we all see in tunnel vision! |

Skinner/Patches?? Eichel Reinhart
Sheary Mittelstadt Okposo
Sobotka Berglund Baptiste
Wilson Erod Pommer
Girgensons.
I think there are more moves coming. CJ Smith should get a crack at it too. - Stripes77
We could use both patches and skinner.

He wasn’t ready he got pushed because he had a couple good games like Grigorenko And then struggled the rest of the year and they should’ve put his ass in ahl
I’m hopeful he can become a good player but now you have to put him in the AHL next year Get his confidence back and get bigger and become a power forward |

Still don’t have a winger for jack
Successful day - gerbe75pts

I just need to stop posting
I'll give Botts the benefit of the doubt. We have 9 D and approximately 15 depth forwards right now. He needs to clean the picture up |

I rather see the average pay for 30 point players. - Mentalorgasm5
Andrew Shaw and his 20 points make $4 million.

Come on. Thats not the average. Thats another example of a berglund like contract. |

You know other teams that were in on him you mentioned earlier. Curious what their offerers were |

All I know is when the next GM inherits Dahlin, Eichel and Hughes, he is going to be one lucky SOB. |

Hi guys, I've been a reader for a while now and with this big trade that just went trough I tought it would be a good time to join the conversation and share my toughts
First off, I can't hide my disappointment of not getting one of Thomas, Kyrou, Kostkin or Parayko. I must admit I dont know much about Thompson but from what I've read he doesn't seem like a lock at all to be a top 6 player, which is what I would've like in the prospect included in the trade. That being said I still think that the deal is decent value for ROR, considering that is contract was risky to keep.
Also, I see a lot of you guys saying we should trade for Pacioretty. As a sabres fan who lives in Quebec, I saw a lot of MaxPacs and trust me trading for him would be a bad idea. I wouldn't even trade a 2nd round pick for him since I wouldn't be willing to give more than 4.5M/year for his extension which wouldn't get it done obviously.
Btw, english ain't my first language so sorry for the bad grammar |

Not sure where they'll play Berglund, but he'd instantly become our #1 or #2 LW.
Thompson is a big, skilled RW with a great shot....if you love Olofsson, you should love Thompson too. Very possible they see him as a guy who fits with Eichel, even if he's not ready day 1. |

Never heard any names from the Canes or the Habs except Patches and mid level D man, forgot his name without looking. The Ducks called also but when Perry was talked about there wasn't much interest, don't think the Ducks were that serious. |

Spare parts? You’re a fool. Cleanse the locker room for a 1st, 2nd, a former 1dt that is good and 2 other players but as you say spare parts. You need all the parts you can get. No one is ever happy. This is a great trade. But some of the people on this blog have no clue and just love to female dog, moan and complain
