They'll both be gone at that point. We need them for this year to ease Mitts in. Thompson, 2019 first, 2021 second are the future. Berglund will play the tough minutes, sobotka will be a fan favourite with his hard nosed play.

Off the top of my head, the 2015 Blackhawks had 8 players 31 or older on that team, and a couple guys were pushing 40.

Fan favorite, hard nosed play... I've heard this about countless other over paid bums. Bogosian, Ott, Gorges... I want raw talent and effort. Matt Calvert is a guy we should have been all over for example. Under 30 great 3rd line grinder who can reliably chip in goals, he's fast and excellent on the PK and we could've had him for free! That's the kind of all effort guy I can get behind.

Berglund was a minus player most of his career in St. Louis including a minus 12 the last two years. Hardly seems like a shut down center. Though I could be wrong.

His name is Tage. I’m not sure how to pronounce it. Is the e silent making him tag, as in price tag or is it like Sage with a T? At what age did he murder his parents? Has that come out yet?
