In case you were wondering, games on December 27th and March 17th just got a little more interesting. Hopefully Eichel is playing. |

He needs to be in the AHL next year so he can reach his level of a top-six forward let's not turn him into girgensons - gerbe75pts
Yeah, whatever it takes. His enthusiasm shined through on the video. |

Even strength goals over the last two seasons:
RoR: 20
Berglund: 32 - Shadman306
Bots specifically called out that he was looking to improve their even strength scoring. He did that with dealing ROR and bringing in Sheary, Berg, and Sobotka.
Now go get Stone. |

Throw in Sheary's 37 even strength goals the last two seasons, and now we're cooking with butter |

If only Darcy let Edmonton take Vanek and get all those firsts from them... - bluengold12
I would have, the team was lost and it needed to regroup.

He's already exceeded my expectations. 2 good goalie signings, 3 trades, and getting Hickey signed (which is an under the radar move that could really pay off). Looking at the roster, I think he's got more coming, very encouraging.

His name is Tage. I’m not sure how to pronounce it. Is the e silent making him tag, as in price tag or is it like Sage with a T? At what age did he murder his parents? Has that come out yet? - Hatboro_Swords
I think it’s pronounced “Tag-E”. |

What did JJ say? I can only find Torts and JR quotes - sbroads24
So far only boilerplate stuff. "It didn't work out there, I'm happy to be here." kind of stuff.
“There were a few things that didn’t go according to plan,” Johnson said. “Some of those things I’d prefer not to discuss in the media. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. Not coming to an extension in Columbus led me to this opportunity. I couldn’t be happier. I wouldn’t trade a thing that happened to be standing here right now.” |

People keep saying the the Blues #1 next yer will be a high pick, I am trying to figure how the Blues will be a top 10 team next year. I just don’t see it.

I don't know, they feel like a playoff team to me. It's top 10 protected anyways. I view it as a 20-something pick. |

Who are they going to surpass to make the playoffs next year?
Edit: and where are you reading it’s protected, I haven’t read that anywhere. |

They were 1 point out of the playoffs last year, and I think they improved today. If I had to pick a team, I'd say the Kings.

And what happens if it is a top 10 pick? The next year? Or the year after? |

just assuming it slides 1 year, that's usually the case.

Which may work out even better, I look at their roster and I just don’t see them making the playoffs. Their division is pretty tough. |

Even if they don't, I don't think they're bottom 10, unless they win the lottery. If it turns into a 15'ish pick next year, that's almost the dream.
I really like their team, but like you said, the division is tough.

I don’t think they are bottom 10 either but I don’t see them as top 10, high teen pick is where I see it. |
