No, probably not. The depth is better, but the high-end talent is worse. If you believe in addition by subtraction, we might be better. Can't be worse than 31, but can be 31 again. I like the Sheary and Hutton deals.

I don't know poop, so maybe we are better. If I'm watching another year of spinning, falling Girgensons and whatever the (frank) Larsson does, I will be more mad than if we traded Eichel for Dylan Strome and and Lygma

Nitpicking but I feel like Berglund is more the solid 3C whereas Sobotka is more of a fill in C. I think this is pretty much it though. Today. Only question is, does Guhle force his way in?

All five are being breached, but you can only protect one. My guess is you're going to the one bank with 1/2 your money. That argument doesn't quite work.

The fact of the matter is that the best talent overall is still in the CHL, and will be for some time. It's not a problem yet, but it's not "no big deal" either.

So Botts got the 4th best prospect by your count.. Ok you have the right to that opinion. But could there be a chance that he was the 2/3rd prospect for Botts? I mean, you're not right all the time, and I doubt you've done the extensive work on viewing these prospects that an NHL GM has done. Looking at a highlight reel only tells you so much. But if it really bothers you this much, there are 30 other franchises you can be a fan of. Feel free.

Maybe I'm a homer, but I've been ultra supportive of everything the Bills have done since beane came in. I was extremely against the Watkins trade at first, but after a little time and some analysis, it started making a lot of sense. Fix the *culture*, the team somehow plays just a little better because they realize no one is "the guy" and they all have to play a little harder to fill the void. Say what you want, but they made the playoffs. They drafted a runner up D rookie of the year with the 27th OA pick. They grabbed their QB and the best MLB in the draft by giving up a 2 2nds and a 3rd. I love what they're doing, I love the attitude, I love the scouting talent, I love the trading, I love the roster churning, I love the vision, and I love #theprocess. I'm all in on that team. Haters can hate, don't care.

If the Sabres can run their team like the Bills, we'll be good in no time.

To be fair, it turned out that the Bills had a much better defense than we realized. Rex Ryan ruined it that much. The Sabres don't have that. They've had a talent deficiency for quite a while.

Exactly what we need to mend a Brocken locker room. Dahlin needs to learn to be a pro. Along with all the other young guys. We lacked experience and leadership. Now we have it, last move of the year will be a top 6 lwer and all will be well.
