So I listened to a podcast with Joe Rogan and Ted Nugent. The dude is out there, in a good way though (kinda). I am a liberal, but I actually enjoyed a lot of his talk with Rogan. He promotes a very healthy lifestyle.

That was my point with putting paid in quotes. To some, the debt could never be paid and they would think he doesn't deserve a second chance in professional hockey....others may look at his time spent in jail, time overseas and time away from the NHL and draw another conclusion.

I was implying that paid is a sliding variable without coming out and saying it....

1) Manning making half of what Ghost makes. $2.25 mil. Hey, good on the Dog, but I can't stop laughing. Bet Diamond Dave is getting an expensive fruit basket. At least Chicago also signed Kunitz and Ward!

2) Vancouver. Lol Nucker. NTCs and buyout proof contracts from Roussel and Beagle. Not even JVR got those. I love Jim Benning

3) Riley Nash was a pretty fair contract actually to people who thought he'd get overpaid

4) The Islanders signing Flip as 2C and Komarov to 4 years......holy poop, Lou. Tavares was smart to leave. They can act like Lou brings competence, and from a business angle maybe, but on-ice? (frank) lol

5) ROR deal was pretty great for STL, even if he's a tad overrated. They didn't part with anything worth second thought, just depth quantity

6) Neal is going to fall off so fast and already is in the decline; the JVR deal is so much better now and later for an extra $1.25 mil

7) Stastney was a good get for VGK and a part of ensuring actual sustainability
