I really got to say I was beginning to lose faith In BT leading up to this free agency, but then he went out and did something like this and totally redeemed himself.

Granted he is responsible for signing some of these guys I think, but to transform this team into what it is today! It’s been a slow process but all in all this team in my opinion looks amazing on paper and should be ready to compete with the best of them!

Dude, if you said “most realistic outlook” you’d be closer to the truth. But that’s still not accurate. You would never, ever be confused as the most positive person in any situation.

Defending Gulutzan, Brouwer, Stajan, Ferland, Bennett, Stone, who were all part of the Flames last year, wasn't positive?

Bringing up the stats that proved the Flames played well and Guluztan's system was working last year wasn't positive?

Thinking both Lindholm and Hanifin are going to thrive in Calgary isn't positive?

Saying the Flames undeniably won the Hanifin trade before and after wasn't positive?

The times I've been negative, I've been accurate and have been vindicated. I thought Ortio was overrated and wasn't good enough to be an NHL goalie. Who does he play for now? I thought Gilles wasn't ready for the NHL yet, how did last year go for him? I thought Hamilton was overrated and wasn't a good fit for the team. Guess what, so did the team.

Pretty much every person who regularly posts on here is far more negative about the Flames than I am.

Think Vegas dropped the ball here. By no means do I think this signing is a steal, but it's not horrible. A team like Vegas with cap space should've re-signed him.
