Let’s put it this way if we’re blues fan and all we need is a center like ROR for my elite winger to put us over the top
Yes I trade Casey a cup is more important to me
But we’re not a cup Contending team so the trade proposals you keep on posting are nonsense In this situation |

Not sure ROR is putting anyone over the top, he isn’t Tavares and his numbers more than state that. |

Berglund and Sobodka can take heavy D zone draws and shelter middlestadt.

Armstrong said it. - Hatboro_Swords
There's no doubt in my mind that Botterill thinks highly of Thompson. That doesn't mean he thought he was better than Kyrou or Thomas. It could just mean he knew those two were never on the table. |

This trade is a win for the Blues now.
It should be a win for the Sabres now and further more down the road.
This team has finished last 3 times in the last 5 years, big changes need to happen.
More should be coming down the road.
Bogo, Moulson, Okposo, ROR, Lehner, and Kane were all from the previous GM.
4 out of 6 are gone - Stripes77
Moulson is gone at end of year, so no need to force that. Bogo I think they think he can still be a player (I disagree), but I am not sure any team is taking him at this point. He has 2 years left, might have to let that play out too. |

So are we trading Ristolainen for the winger or using picks for a UFA soon that will get big money |

I read a BLues fan tweet online that they were pumped that "that was all they had to give up for the best 2 way center in the NHL even on the worst team in the NHL."
So.... they have high expectations. |

They should feel that way. That said, they are kidding themselves if they think they got the best 2 way center in the league.

Stop with trading Risto.... please for the love of god. It's not gonna happen.
Can easily trade STL/SJS 1st and the likes of McCabe, Nylander for a top LW not named Patches or Skinner.
Panarin is still out there on the market, Stone is out there on the market, Nino is out there on the market.... plenty to kick tires on.

Armstrong said it. - Hatboro_Swords
Armstonr said Botteril was fixated on TAge.
That was most likely afetr being told that Thomas and Kyrou were off the table.
I'm still waiting for the Quote that says Botterill thought Tage was the best St Louis Prospect.
He was the best prospect they could get. |

3) stone will cost a boat load and I really don’t want to give up everything for him

Maybe best prospect that actually played with the team last year. |
|
|
|
For the amount of moves made by the Sabres, they’re not a vastly speedier team than last year. Dahlin and Sheary will help with that, but Berg and Sabotts won’t. |
