Our goalies played maybe the worst in NHL history the first 30 games last year, the only way we are worse next year is if they play like that again, i just don't see it.

Neither do I. Carter Hutton may be a career backup, but he's shown he's twice the goalie Lehner ever will be. Some goalies are late bloomers. It took him a long time, but he was nothing short of excellent last year, and there's no reason why he can't be again.

Very true but I think that won't be an issue. I'm not saying we can't be good in 2018/19, I'm just saying refilling the system seems to be what he is trying to do while adding pieces here and there as he can. We aren't going to get a teams top end product for most of what we have on our team or in our system so we need to build our system and bring up our own top end talent.

As long as they get their poop together an give an honest effort, he's fine. If the team looks uninpired and flat, Housley could be in trouble. Fans have sat through slow, listless hockey for too long. If they finish in the bottom 5, it's going to be incredibly ugly.
