EK is a pipe dream. He will never agree to come here. With De Haan in Carolina, we might have a shot at Faulk. Up front I would go after Panarin. Not sure who could be a good fit at 2C.

Faulk seems the more reasonable option but what would the Hurricanes need? They're already quite stacked up front with LWs: Aho, Svech, McGinn, Martinook, RWs: Skinner, Williams, Zykov, Ferland, C's: Staal, Necas, Rask, Teravainen. Maybe they want future assets because they're a cheap team but it all seems like they're going for it.

Panarin is a wing not center as much as l like him we need a # 2 center and a Dman more. If Lou adds these 2 things we can compete for a playoff spot next year.
