I'm actually optimistic about a rebuild, they already have a good foundation of youth to build on, just need the 3-4 high end pieces... Just hoping he grabs one in the Pacioretty trade and packs it in for the summer, it would be a very successful off season as far as I'm concerned

Habs have 16 forwards and 9 defensemen either signed or RFA ... I'm all for internal competition but I really don't get having more than 5 lines and 4 D pairs of guys on NHL contracts. They should trade a couple of players for picks and younger prospects...
