Just think about the day they don't win a cup. The day they are eliminated from the playoffs you can rejoice and throw all the annoying poop back in the faces.
The 3 dozen plus people that caps-locked STEW!!! in threads and got overly giddy about the acquisition will love it when you say it back to them and remind them that you need adequate defense and a reliable goalie to win as well. - nords21
I can already see the "Your team sucks, you can't laugh at us!!!" witty replies |

Also don't get why they'd sign a guy like Duclair. They already have enough wingers ffs... - BashCH

Even so...Domi, Drouin, Lehkonen, Scherbak, Byron, Hudon, Deslauriers...how many left wingers do you need on a team? |

Well Deslauriers can play on both sides. I'd play him left D lol
One of Drouin or Hudon will play center |

Hudon will be injured after training camp, Domi or Drew-in will play center and Deslauriers will play once in a while. |

10 goals in 58 games, can't see why he would'nt be a regular. Who else is a lock on the 4th? |

And he's pretty much the only guy who can stand up for his teamates. And in this I include Weber |

He got hot for about 2 months, something he never did in his NHL career before. I am not expecting the same results from Deslauriers this upcoming season. He was awesome for a short span, up to him to replicate it.... |

Yeah, hard to play with that intensity for 82 games. Maybe he learned a lesson when he got cut in Buffalo, he needs to play like that everynight if he wants to play in the NHL.
He's a good pker also. They even had him at D on the PK some nights in Laval when he was there |

yeah that third line is jammed. Makes for an extremly soft 4th line if you put those guys there, maybe except Armia, he's a big kid, can't say I've seen him play alot. |

Armia said he'd like a more offensive role in Montreal. I'd give him a shot, see what he can do. |

I think that's worst.
They actually could go with the "nah. It never happened" routine last time.
Now we all know he was traded but nixed the deal.....
It's a whole new level of poopshow. |
