I’d take Killorn or Johnson off their hands. In terms of Maroon as long as it’s short term I wouldn’t mind him either. He could fill that “tom Wilson” role for us.

TB will try to keep him if they can and the no tax on income is huge for take home money for a player. Could see him staying at a lower cap hit, to complete that team.

Karlsson and Hedman is just silly though.

Since Karlsson ~$11m wont hit til next year, they are not forced to trade until deadline or draft next year.

Same thing as if JT signed with TB. If Karlsson gets traded to TB need to pounce on a favorable cap trade for Palat, Johnson or Killorn. They have to give up someone/2 of them.

Johnson has full NTC, i think Palat has a 20 team list, and Killorn has nothing yet. Although I could be misreading that.

I would be calling Arizona to converse about Dvorak or Perlini. They are deep with LWs with the addition of Galch. They are still young and no slam dunk but the reward could be a lot bigger and cheaper than a guy like Skinner.

That’s why if we were to sign maroon, to cover our backs the term would be 2-3 years max. Heck even throwing him a one year $6M deal wouldn’t even hurt. We have the cap space.
