Vancouver is in a rebuild and is soft as butter ( has been soft since the Marchment face wash on Sedin .) While term is gross on the Roussel and Beagle, not many will sign here right now so had to overpay both on term and money.
The worst signings were Ericksson and Gagner by far. Those werent even filling a need ,but were delusional at best.

lol you'll be pissy again when you choke in the first round. All those points out with JVR, Bozak and Komorov gone and just bringing in JT to replace it all with no defensive needs addressed whatsoever...

The Canucks have lots of (for once) promising prospects. They lost a syt load of money with the Sedins retiring, Needed grit, and faceoff improvement.

Were not rushing youth.

Were all aware the LE contract is terrible.

Nope, wont happen. By the time he retires, or the contracts expires, we will have plenty of youth and other players to step right in and not miss the old bugger....

Please take a look a the absolute jokes of a carousel of a bottom 6 we've had over the last three years.

These guys aint going any where, And we finally got a couple of guys who wont shy away from chucking the knuckles. The wimpiest team in the league needed a boost in the strength department.

Summary........... Bad Term, for needed toughness. People overplay in free agency...... Not the best contract in the world, but worst ones were signed on July 1st.
