Just go Northern and Southern Conferences. Then everyone travels, and everyone has the same problems

Just seems too weird having Colorado, Pitt & Philly in the “Southern” Conference

Maybe u could make a North/South thing work if the NHL expanded to 36 teams at some point
But besides Houston & KC, idk what other “Southern” cities you could add?

San Diego? Oklahoma City? Atlanta (again)?
Maybe Orlando if they can partner with Disney again
Louisville, Charlotte, Baltimore ?
