There is one rumour out there that some of the big money involved in one of the bids to buy the Sens is connected with a substantial European investor. I think it is too late now. But, I wondered if Melnyk's "I am going to blow myself up" strategy was simply to put pressure on potential bidders to make their best offer before he inflicted another level of damage to the team.

I believe that you cannot reverse the damage that has been done and the best outcome is that Melnyk sell the team and let us sit back and enjoy the rebuild.
