Captain Jack is officially on notice, this is his team and he now becomes responsible for the on-ice production, after:
-Running Bylsma out 9 f town
-Running o'Rielly out of town ( kinda/sort of)
-$10m contract k8cking in
-Soon to be named captain

Time for him to put his stamp on the team in a much more significant way than just being the best player. Leadership, Accountability...laying the foundation for a culture of winning.

C'mon Jack, let's see you transform this team right before our eyes!!!

Not a big loss, Jets have a lot in cap space as of now.

Agreed, he was destined for Rochester anyway.

But that’s only because you know that “place” I try to put myself in the person shoes

-I look at my age and research the prospects core and the team

-I look at my contract I have 2 years left do I risk a huge payday where there best player has only hit 50+ points and has been injured

- I look at the division to see if we have a chance to make the playoffs or wildcard

- gerbe75pts

players don't live in bubbles...they talk amongst themselves...

tampa's the class of the division right now...Toronto should be a lock for top-3 in the division ...the rest are boston, who're in a transition phase, florida who're almost always underachieving...the wings have a steep hill to climb then we have montreal, Ottawa and buffalo...

ain't the toughest division in the league

I didn't put them down...just said they're in a transition phase...their core is getting up there...

the real question a potential player should be asking is, "can this team get to 95 points?"

for the Sabres right now, the answer leans heavily towards 'no' because of a number of question marks...as we get into the season and see what Eichel and dahlin are like, along with the offense, defense, special teams and goaltending, we'll have a better idea as to the definitive answer to that question...

I also don’t think Jack ran O’Reilly out of town.

O’Reilly did it himself, and pretty clearly, intentionally

Mental has Sam at 5 million per year, too bad this is the internet, he would make so much money off you guys.

3 for 11 million Michael?

That's Tom wilson money.

- Boss34

4.5 to 5.

Good luck with wilson getting more than Reinhart.

I'm a ROR fan and IMO you keep players like him to build and make the team better however, it made no sense to keep him. You trade him and maximize the value and build with the pieces you get. I'm not thrilled with the return for ROR but it wasn't all bad.

Not towards him. I just think he is over rated.

He’s a good player. But we were getting nowhere playing him like he’s Bergeron

I didn't even realize Reinhart was that effective. Could be a good one. (frank)ing Sabres... I'm glad Ryan Miller is out of his prime. He was mean to my Maple Leafs in his prime.

Atlantic is a strong division...maybe the bottom teams are weak but TB and TOR are huge. Boston should still be very strong. Florida is good and Buffalo is gonna be real dangerous soon too.
