Yeah, he’s more of an energy guy who will fight if needed(questionable hit while he’s on the ice. I wouldn’t expect more than 1-2 fights per year |

Yeah and you guys are the first to scream when a player gets blindsided and the team of pussies don't respond. - VANTEL
Literally no one on my list other than Schaller would stand up any more than Granlund. |

We don’t have playmaking C’s more like it - Nighthawk
I stand by my original post . No need for adjustments. When you have three forwards on your entire roster that have twenty goals and two of them barely made it , then you have a team that doesn't score many goals

Well yeah, in an ideal world LE is not on the team. I do think Granlund will get pushed out by circumstances but i was making a case for him being better than the guys I listed. - NorthNuck
I know, but I don't see it. Plus Don is his fanboy and he's always wrong. |

When a team thinks he is worth 1.1 and the player agrees . I think you are in the ballpark talent wise
And yes contracts are given out on how good a player is duh |

Most here use the contract to determine how bad players are, Eriksson, Beagle, Sutter..etc., so why can't the reverse be the same? |

Different circumstances make a big difference. Granlund was operating from a position of weakness as he hadn't been an impact player so he couldn't justify getting a big raise. Beagle got a crapton of money and we all agree he isn't worth it but he was in a position where he was able to leverage a lot more. |

Playmakers make goal scorers.
Snipers are in their own league.
Low scoring teams lack playmakers
Sens Flames Canucks Wings Habs Coyotes Sabres bottom 7 for a reason. |

See, see case in point...that means Schaller is worth it. |

Tell you what if Canucks win the cup this year your superstar Granlund can ask for a big raise.
