The team owns the right to said, unsigned player.
The player may have been an unsigned draftee, a player that has been qualified an offer, but has decided to go abroad, etc.

I think he caught that down in Mexico. If you leave from Ucluelet early in the morning and go out 30 miles you can catch albacore, I've never seen a yellow fin out there though?
