Fishbuzz is for rumors about where to fish. It's more like Plenty of Fish around here

Interesting comparison, though Namestnikov was playing on a line with Stamkos when his production got a bump. Watching how he does on the Rangers this year might provide insight into what we can expect from Goldy?

Eklund thinks Matthews is more valuable than McDavid

I think he just does it for hits.

He does the same thing every summer.

LOL, it isn't his contract that makes him suck, he does that on his own. The contract doesnt help.

I think he caught that down in Mexico. If you leave from Ucluelet early in the morning and go out 30 miles you can catch albacore, I've never seen a yellow fin out there though?
- LeftCoaster

Your probably right but I thought Yellow Fin also came up north. It does look like somewhere warm like mexico.

I havent fished a single time this season. Separated shoulder on my casting arm along with some muscle damage in my forarm. Then fishing never really picked up this season and the pooptiest thing is trying to not spend a dime on gas all summer so I can afford fishing in the fall. Boring. Depressing... and then there's this place...

Clearly he is a good player, he made it to the NHL. But he isnt a defensive juggernaut as some would argue, he seems better suited to the wing than centre, he only puts up points when paired with players who have more offensive talent, or when the sheer volume of his minutes goes up. He does seem like a really nice guy, I bet he is a great temmate, is a positive role model etc. but he hasn't exactly helped the team win games the past few seasons.

I think Fabian Brunnstrom was the guy you were thinking of yesterday. Although he's a F. But he did get a hatty in his 1st game.

Last year when Dorsett was playing Sutter /Dorsett were Canucks best and most productive line.

Canucks are a very talentless (not a real word) team . This summer they fixed the bottom 6 now they need to fix the top 6

For a very short period of time those two guys had some success. Now that the bottom 6 is "fixed", where does Sutter fit into the lineup? Is he in the top or bottom?

You must be a big Eriksson fan
- NorthNuck

He's a top 3 Left winger for sure.

In all honesty though, if you sign a one year deal for 1 million, you're probably not worth 3 million.

It is not Sutters fault that Benning still dresses a sh1t lineup. I have said over and over and over Sutter is a number three center yet here we are today talking about him playing a number two role.

Sutter sucked on the PP because he never got the puck . You had two puck hogs that never passed to anyone else. It is not Sutters style to go crash the net like a junk yard dog like Burrows cleaning up the rebounds.

You have to play players to positions of strength , not to positions of need because your GM can't fill a roster card

I'm not asking where he will play, I'm asking where he fits for you.

Anyway, I think we can agree that in general he was deployed as a defensive specialist, and what I'm saying is there is nothing special about his game, defensive or otherwise.
