Can you show me one article that backs that? I can show you at least 15 others that say differently. Google PK Subban arbitration

No arbitrator can award an 8 year deal. An Arbitrator can hand out a one year or two year deal only

I bet you produce more print on the Canucks than the Sun and Province combined. You really should figure out how to get paid for it.

are you guys debating whether his 2 year contract was awarded by an arbitrator or signed before the arbiter ruled?

cause I think he signed it before the ruling.

The bridge deal has nothing to do with arbitration . That was the contract before.

He went to arbitration and a day later him and Mtl agreed on an 8 year deal before the arbitrators decision was announced.

Will you please learn to read . I have said 3 times now the arbitrator can not award an eight year contract. What part of that is throwing you off?

ahhhh, wikipedia.

The day after the hearing, on August 2, it was announced that Subban and the Habs had agreed to terms on an eight-year, $72 million contract, running through the 2021–22 season.

The hearing took place on August 1, 2014, with Subban's camp asking for a one-year deal worth $8.5 million, while the Canadiens offered a one-year deal worth $5.5 million.

I’m telling you Hughes will be the next Bobby Orr.

General Manager Jim Benning is a genius, I’m sure no comment will be required.

6m is a squeeze IMO. I guess it comes down to if Willy keeps improving. Idk if the 2nd best winger on the Leafs of his calibre should leave money on the table.
- Nighthawk

They just let JVR walk. They are in win now mode. Maybe im nuts but as an example wouldnt you trade Nylander say for Tanev. If nylander gets 6 tanev is at 4.5 they are up 500k from a jvr signing with a 35 goal winger for JT and a top 4 shut down dman. Woulda made more sense to me.
