Well lucky enough we don't have any shut down center prospect in the system that we can bring in for a few years. We could always call back Cole Cassels

Sutter has plenty of years left in him. Great shutdown C

I can see Dahlen needing a year in Utica. Gaudette and Juolevi should both be in Van but I think with the logjam we have one or both will end up in the minors

If Joulevi is ready do you honestly believe Hutton would steal his spot?

Never seen anything from RJ on Dahlen, he's played against men in a pro league for the past two years. Just think they should see what he's got at the NHL level.
- LeftCoaster

“He came to Utica and played a couple of exhibition games and got completely humbled to the point where it was a hard conversation for me and him to have,” said Ryan Johnson, the Canucks’ director of player development. “He said, ‘I’m not ready for this.’ So, we set up a plan. I said, ‘Jonathan, you’re a great player. This is a setback. We’ll work through this.’”

No, I think MDZ will because Green trusts him and he's a good vet and blah blah blah

There will more than likely not be a need to fight for a spot. The good players like Boeser Horvat Pettersson Virtanen all have spots . When you come to me with guys like Goldobin Baertschi Granlund Gaunce Dahlen Leipsic Motte Palmu Gadjovich Boucher Lind Gaudette . These guys are all years away for being impact players. Some won't even be NHL regulars
- VANTEL

Peterson should play a game before being announced as better then Sven.

I think they should both play in the NHL. Dahlen's developed for two years, Gaudette three, also Juolevi two years, let em play.
- LeftCoaster

I would prefer Hughes go back and use this year to get OJ situated.

You make it sound like Beagle will be competing for a job now and in the future, but that just isn't realistic
- 1970vintage

He was an important part of the best team in the league and you dont think he will make the team? Lol. Everyone needs to wake up around here. Our depth and prospects aren’t ready/ good enough

That sounds like pre-season, before he went and dominated in Europe...

Do you think a Tanev to the Flyers for Phillipe Myers would work?

They are in more of a win now mode, would be a bit risky as it appears he regressed a bit last season but would be looking to get minutes in this year and should be a regular next season for sure.

Let them play and accept that there will be mistakes and missteps

Granlund as second line center will award us Jack Hughes.

Gawd man . What a sh1t roster . Even Sutter as 2 nd line center is horrible. Bo should be the teams second line center with a Now Hiring ad hanging outside Rogers arena

You completely misread that. I am saying Beagle will be on the team, no matter what. Young players wont be competing with Beagle for a spot, they will only be competing with each other for the one spot that might be up for grabs.

It was, but I dunno if he leapfrogged the entire AHL in one year
