For a team as bad as the Canucks I think it's time to see what a few of these know do can do at the best level, give me some minutes. As I mentioned, I though Gaudette created some good looks at the end of last season and he got better every game.

I am neither for or against this, as I just wrote my thoughts to Vantel in the post above. You have to be so careful. EDM for years had a complete poop roster, where they tried to insulate kids with veterans, and it never ever worked. Prospects should not be given MORE of an opportunity because the overall team is worse than other teams.

What we were talking about is if more than one or two of the prospects are ready. If 3 or 4 or 5 were there's no way management let's them all play regardless.

4 years isnt long term and this team continues to get faster and younger regardless of the false narrative. The Sedins are out of the top 6. Our top 6 just got a whole lot faster on that alone. EP is making the team Im sure of it... he's faster... Hughes may make the team but he'll be here soon one way or another. Some scouts say he can skate in case you havent learned.

Somewhere in your confusion you formed a statement never made. Who has heard Benning say he'll never add vets or padd layers that are not high end skaters???? Its misrepresented. Whats next... freak because Demko is being out skated in practice?

Non of what you have said makes any sense. Benning continues to add layer after layer of veteran leadership. He is pushing less talented players up the lineup by filling from the bottom.

I am not confused, and I never formed any statements that I never made. I'm also not freaking. There is no hysteria or panic in my posts. Do I want the team to be better? For sure, but for me this is year 1 of the rebuild and I would rather the team was bad with the existing rag tag bunch than with yet another wave of character guys.

I really think Benning has done a piss poor job of building, for his first 4 years.

He has signed and traded for nothing but bottom 6 players. The real bittom 6 players he signed this year is not the problem it is the bottom six players he acquired and placed them in the top 6

Yes, it sucks those guys are in the top 6, but that will not be fixed until we have some prospects develop into top 6 players, something that will potentially be delayed by the 8000 players we have in our bottom 6
