The rebuild falls with ownership. The absolutely worst thing was making the playoffs WD's first season instead of selling off any assets that they had at the time. This set them back a few years. Having the Sedins didn't help either right to the end. Their retirement party 6-1-2 cost them a chance at Dahlin. Still makes me sick to my stomach that as bad as we have been the lowest we picked is 5th.

They are going to turn the dive dial to 11 against England just like 98.

I'm so impressed by the 36 pages of comments that I kind of hate to break up the flow.

But I do have the scoop on Brock Boeser, Team Captain, as Da Beauty League kicks off today. His game's at 3:30 PT.

That, and a few thoughts on the D. I'm coming to terms with the idea that Ben Hutton may not be back.

That truck is Lefty's rebuild all the way.

Has to be fast. Those goats are his considerations.

You could just as easily put the three new guys in this same category. None of them are impact players. I have nothing against these players, or their contracts, what I'm disapointed with is that the organization keeps saying one thing and doing another.

"The NHL is changing, speed and skill are where we're headed. We are going to be a very young team this year" *signs old players to long term deals*

I also don't like that Benning paid top dollar for average players. Rick D keeps going on and on about the market, and how many teams. There were 20 smarter GM's out there on July 1st, and 10 who got lucky they picked Vancouver. It's like fighting over a big screen TV at Wallmart on Black Friday when instead you could have just shopped online and got the same deal.

Non of what you have said makes any sense. Benning continues to add layer after layer of veteran leadership. He is pushing less talented players up the lineup by filling from the bottom.

I am not confused, and I never formed any statements that I never made. I'm also not freaking. There is no hysteria or panic in my posts. Do I want the team to be better? For sure, but for me this is year 1 of the rebuild and I would rather the team was bad with the existing rag tag bunch than with yet another wave of character guys.
