Unfortunately Gagner had a great year before last with 50 pts. LE had several 60 pt on avg seasons. Gagner may improve his stats this year with more PP time. Not sure I can blame JB on either of the 2 signings.

I think someone here posted the top UFA's from that years FA. They were all dogs. We just got the most expensive one.

The winners in FA tend to always be the under the radar guys who sign a couple days later.

Stastny this year is a funny one IMO, its crazy to think Vegas is immediately that desirable to be able to get him to sign only 3 years. I'm looking forward to them being mediocre next year.

I think there were some who liked adding the player and I think most thought he would be decent for a year or two before absolutely sucking.

iirc it was the term that pissed people off but at least with that signing it was the price you pay for top 6 25-30 goal scorers at UFA time.

The only reason I liked it was because it meant we missed out on Lucic.

I liked Eriksson as a player and his chemistry with the twins. I wanted 4 years at 5mil which seemed a lot more reasonable but would still look dumb now

I can see him hitting 40-45 if he plays with EP and another skill player. I wouldn't mind seeing Baertschi EP Sutter line with Sutter taking face offs.

I think we are more likely to see him to continue to get lots of ice-time with other shutdown guys though.

They don't have 36 goal guy JVR that had had 3 goals in the first round, sh1t disturber Komorov Bozak 2 G in first round

I didn’t mind the Gagner one. Worthwhile gamble. It didn’t workout. That happens when signing UFAs obviously

I think barring injury or him completely looking out of place, he starts with the nucks this year.

I don't mind him going back to Michigan but I would prefer if he was in the AHL for at least part of the season. If he shows he can dominate that league right now, keep him up.

I hope they are open to EP spending some time in Utica if he needs it too.
