If the worst case scenario arises and he really did do this, he'll be done. If that happens, not saying it will, but this automatically turns into a tank season for the Bills for me.

He is half of that offense by himself, if not an even larger percentage.

I don't think we're necessarily bottom 10. We were a playoff team last year, had some decent coaching for once and our division didn't get significantly better overall. We could very well repeat a playoff appearance...with McCoy.

Without him I agree we are a dumpster fire. We lack the necessary playmakers at WR and TE to hope for anything at that point.

But u also miss things live depending on what you’re focused on
At least with tv, u can rewind or do slow-mo, etc
You can easily see more than enough on tv to form educated opinions

WR corps didn't improve (got worse maybe?)
new offensive coordinator
and most importantly - new starting QB.

On defense:
new starting interior lineman
new rookie ILB, arguably most important defensive position
little else improved at LB/DL outside of depth players

but yeah very similar teams...

How come new automatically means a downgrade?

We didn't have a great offensive coordinator, didn't have a good QB and you are using "didn't improve" in multiple spots as negatives. On top of that, Edmunds is a freak and could very well have a big impact as a rookie (that does happen).

As far as I'm concerned we slightly downgraded at QB, the effect of which can be lessened dramatically by having McCoy. Other than that we swapped some parts out, but are overall a similar team. Agree to disagree, we aren't a significantly worse team at the very least and we DID make the playoffs last year.

I'm looking for a place where I haven't outlived my usefulness.
