The Milton County Police Department released the following statement to the NFL Network. McCoy is not specifically named in the statement.

“On July 10, 2018 at approximately 3:18 A.M., Milton Police responded to a home invasion at a residence on Hickory Pass near the Cherokee County line. The preliminary investigation indicates that this residence was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects, and not a random incident. When officers arrived they found one victim who had been physically assaulted by a lone intruder. During the altercation, the suspect demanded specific items from the victim. An adult female victim was treated and released at North Fulton Regional Hospital. A second adult female victim also sustained a minor injury during the incident.”

Court records in Georgia show that McCoy has been trying to evict Cordon from his home in Milton, Ga. since last July. In court papers filed in Georgia, McCoy claimed the two “were no longer in a relationship” and that McCoy had allowed Cordon to live rent-free at the premises for five months.

Jacoby Hudson, McCoy’s attorney, told The Athletic on Tuesday that McCoy was in Miami at the time of the alleged incident. Hudson also claims McCoy had security cameras at the house that Cordon removed.

Another alleged friend of Cordon’s posted the same split image from the original Instagram post on Facebook, claiming in her caption that people were “sent in [Cordon’s] house” to “rob [Cordon].” That Facebook post still remains up at the time of this article’s publish.

His attorney is 100% going to say that. He isnt going to say... "McCoy had replaced the cameras with his own and watched the assault on his ex GF happen live"

I was thinking the same thing. But I just don't see Rhino as an 80 point guy. If he is, great for him and us. If his ceiling is 70, he's getting a nice 7M contract at the end of that deal. We have a lot of cap space in a few years, and the only dud we'll have at that point is Berglund (and Okposo?). We'll most certainly have the space to lock up Reinhart for an extra million or two if req'd

I agree. I don't think he's earned a long term contract, and based on the handling of his contracts, if your name isn't Jack Eichel, he's cautious.

He's already played against NHL players it's not like he's going in cold feet he has more experience then Connor McDavid had before he entered the league
