uhmm - that's really weak. when trying to convince others of credibility you really need to back it up with something. anything -- even an absurdly low sample size in pre-season games would help.

I think this is a fair number. I thought 5.5 might do it, but he's on his way to being a top 5 goaltender every year, this deal is good for both sides!

I think its a great deal. His deal runs from the age of 25-30, which in goalie years is their prime. Coming off a stellar year where he was a vezina candidate, I would consider this a great signing. Look around the league and tell me how many teams have a goalie duo less than 6.85M. Chevy is doing a great job here. We will see what other tricks he has up his sleeve. Trade Meyers for a solid return, or as he did with Mason, a small payment to get rid of Kuli. Either way, 20M is plenty to retain their RFA talent for this season.
