Playing with a difference maker doesn't make you a difference maker.
Muzzin's a fine player but I don't think he'd fix any problems at age 29 as a defensive defenceman approaching 30 and UFA. - Lindenis#1
If you want cap room, you have to give up something and teams aren't going to help out unless they are giving up what you need.
LA wants Skinner or another scorer like him. They don't have the cap space. Carolina isn't going to trade Skinner for a defender( Muzzin) who they don't need. LA doesn't have the extra bodies to give up for Skinner. 2.3 in cap space with 2 players to go still.
No team is going to give full worth if they know what LA is trying to do. |

After seeing that LA signed Rasmus Kupari (really would have liked to get him)
I see that they picked up Akil Thomas at pick 51! For a player that was over a PPG in the OHL. That's also a very good pick up. |

You know how Lefty thinks short people complain about short players not being able to play.
It's probably the same for Lefty, larger slower plays like he was. He thinks they aren't exciting because he wasn't an exciting player. - manvanfan
When you go to the grocery store and look around and see most people are under six feet tall. This is true because every athlete 6'4 and taller with a chiseled body is always in this blog. That is why it is very rare to see them in public |

To think Stecher isn't a top 4 is bonkers. He's the solid option guy-who-plays-with-a-guy on the right side. Bottom pairing guys just plain suck ass for the most part. Stecher does not. If Gudbranson or Hutton played with half the effort Stecher does then no one would have complaints about either of them. - Lindenis#1
Is he an apple or an orange? |

The asset management/hysteria crowd should be entertaining. |

There is a pretty simple solution that will make everyone freak out a little more.
Any waiver eligible guy goes down. (Boeser can make the team) |

I guess so?
Quite possibly maybe someone cannot suck and a trade could be made. Gives the youth a little time to adjust or more practice time. |

If Brock makes the Canucks, they would still have to waive someone who can be claimed, assuming 13-8 scenario.
As was posted earlier, Benning is willing to try make a trade/s to alleviate that, but it may not work out.
If we were to lose a Gagner type to waivers, so be it. |

I would guess that Gaunce goes down first or Biega.
Heard NJ is looking for some secondary scoring. |

Not sure if NJ will find any secondary scoring from us
I like Gaunce and would try to hold onto him for another season. Would much rather expose Gagner to waivers. |
