How do you figure that? Like goals only? - manvanfan
Yeah, just goals, but perhaps you would like to look up their primary points? |

I wonder who's gonna be better for their 50th anniversary season, Buffalo or Vancouver? |
|
|
|
I'm not worried about heavy G, just pointing out that he scored one less goal (4 instead of 5) in 36 fewer games (37 compared to 73) than one of the guys replacing him. - 1970vintage
Gaunce has 5 goals after 3 years . One was off his head . One off his butt. I am sure other teams don't see him as the scoring threat most Canuck fans view him as |

Yes, Canucks fans are dilusional and always overrate prospects and players. It’s the reason I wanted to introduce a mentorship program for the weaker posters on here. Gaunce sucks. That is all |

Just going to throw this out there but he's only 24 with 114 nhl games. He's going to be a foundational piece for this team when he's 28 years old. Will really help the PK out. |

A goal is a goal is a goal. If scoring goals is the one thing holding Gonner back from being in your lineup I dont get why you are so high on $24m worth of Beagle/Rousel. Gaunce scored at a higher rate than both those guys last year.
Don't take this to mean I think Gaunce is a "better" player, or I love Gaunce (I do have an I ❤️ Gaunce t-shirt ) just that his goal scoring rate isn't all that bad for a 4th line player. |

Then he will be worth $4.5m on a 5 year term (inflation) |

Sabres could make a jump in the standings if they let their youth play. Mittelstadt and Dahlin should make them that much better even though they lost 60 points from ROR leaving.
Same for the Canucks if they let their youth play, it's a young mans game these days. I swear Pettersson is gonna make people realize in a re-draft he probably goes 1st or 2nd overall. |

Why all the hate, does Gaunce live one floor below you? Did he fart in the elevator as he was exiting leaving you in a cloud of stink? Or is it that he constantly complains to the building manager that you play your Barbra Streisand records too loud? |

Eichel and Mittelstadt down the middle with Dahlin and Ristolainen on defence is a pretty sweet start for them! |

Gaunce gets way more ink here than he does on the scoresheet. However , I do predict a 9 goal season for him next year. |

The Canucks are not in a big mess. Where? Compared to who? Because of a contract like LE? They are just not good yet but are adding high end kids every season. It is a process is all. A slow and painful one. Where is this cancer team narrative coming from though? Honestly, what kind of a team do people think these kids want? This is a team they can make.... Three vets just dropped out of the top 6... 3 were added to the bottom 6 but there are opportunities everywhere in this line up including D and G. The kids know this team has made room every season for a youngster or two.... I'm sure their agents tell them its a good situation in Van for them. - boonerbuck
Sorry Booner, for responding so late.
I have said many times that this will be a 7- 9 year rebuild, my apologies if I seam impatient, I am not.
This team is headed in the right direction as far as i am concerned. |
