You dont have the cap to sign him to a 6 year deal but a bridge will work against you if he is what you expect him to be.You guys look prone to an offer sheet. Would love to see the Canucks give him a 6 by 6.0 mill per on an offer sheet |

According to Google the going rate for a Nurse in Edmonton is $38.64/hr. |

I'd also love to see the Canucks offer sheet him at 6mil over 6 years That'd mean we'd get their 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick for next year and Nurse wouldn't save them from a bottom-5 finish. |

Sharks don’t have the required picks to offer him any more than 4 mill, which we’d match. Nice try though. |

Not as tempting from the Sharks, but can they really afford that? Burns at 8, Vlasic at 7, Nurse at 6, Braun at 3.7 and Dillon at 3.2 along with their recently signed extensions. |

Below league minimum for certain. |

Great blog about Nurse.
Be interesting to see how he develops over the next year or two during this bridge contact.
I personally believe most players develop better with bridge contracts. Gives significantly more incentive for players to perform for big contracts. |

Whatever they sign him to, I hope that Nurse and Draisaitl are able to move past whatever rift they had last season. We have all seen what a broken dressing room can do to a team. |

He doesn't want a long term deal because he wants to book a flight out of dodge the first chance he gets to ufa status. |
