Basically, it came down to Boeser. 7 games without him they were 26th in the league. Then with him they got up to 3rd. Then lost him and were back down to 9th in the end.

.500 hockey club healthy. If goaltending is decent add another .50-100 and take it off if goaltending sucks.

Team has to stay healthy.

Too many variables to predict what the team will be like this year. If Demko makes the team early that could sway our win %, how well EP performs is a big one, whether Hughes is on the team, as stated the health of Horvat/Boeser/Tanev

It feels like 5 years people have been saying AZ or buffalo will be good. Never happens.

Really hinges a lot on whether Hutton and raanta can step up. If Eichel and Dahlin are healthy theres no reason buffalo isn’t at least a bubble team imo.

Jv doesn’t have the iq to play pp. I’d wager goldy and gagner are two of the guys on that line. Bb, bo, ep and bae will be pp1. Still don’t have any d that will contribute though

In 64 games last season Horvat finished with 44 pts which is good for a pace of 64+ points over a healthy 82 game sched. He's up about 12 pts per season barring last years injury.

If he plays 82 this year with all the extra TOI with Sedins gone there should be no reason he should not break 70 points.

Not sure how much iq is required too set up in the left circle as the designated shooter.
I believe Gagner gets waived this season, as he just doesn't provide enough. IMO.

He played 19:20 last season. I doubt he is playing anymore. 23rd in the league for Centers. Sedin's minutes will go to EP, and some one. Leipsic scored at the same ppg rate as Daniel did. As for PP minutes, not sure.

Consider the Sedin's has 70% ozone starts and easy minutes, they were remarkably bad 5v5.
