Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Moore-McQuaid
Grzelyck-Miller
Also I can see Urho Vaakanainen leap frogging both Lauzon and Zboril on the prospect depth chart before this season is over. |

Also, when does Chara retire? Or is he an actual robot that won't retire until his hardware(brain) can no longer support the software updates(thoughts and reasoning)? |

I'd give him a max of two more years. |

Well this Rolo guy is clearly uneducated.
Anthony, great write up. Don't want to see Krug moved at all.
I don't think Chara resigns for next year. |

It is a nice problem to have now, but unless they want to carry 2 of thm in the press box all year, don't they risk losing one on waivers when rosters are trimmed for opening day? |

Anthony - just a heads up - Moore's contract is 5 years not 4. |

Lotta ponies, no Horses. They have the strongest bottom 8 for any defensive core in the league, but no real #1, Chara's not there anymore, and McAvoy isnt there yet. |

Problem is management doesn't seem to want to trade real pieces to get Horses. McDonagh was attainable, and yes losing DeBrusk may have been painful but...that's how it goes. Fans, media and management need to realize that Krejci, Rask, or Backes and their bloated contracts will not net real returns. |

There is plenty of youth to spare. The bruins can live with giving away a piece or two. Dont sell the farm entirely though.
The D core has a bright future. I would love to see them work on up the middle and on the right side. Stud prospects and/or current players are not currently a winning combination in my opinion. Need to revamp the middle six. Have some good young pieces to insert there, but the vets in that area leave much to be desired. |

Agreed! No need to gut the farm like the Red Sox have done under Dombrowski. I just don't understand the sports radio caller logic. Where trading Krejci a prospect and pick nets Erik Karlsson.
EDIT: Not saying that's what Emac was implying either. |

This talk about trading Krug is ridiculous. The power play would take a major hit without him. Nobody close to having his mobility and smarts on the pp and even McAvoy is not even close at this time. I only hope he is recovered from that nasty injury from his last playoff game. Krug is special!

Even when they lose Leafs fans never shut up. Imagine how bad it'll be if they actually succeed some day. . . |

There is no light at the end of the tunnel for Leaf fans, they are as futile as their hockey team |

Totally agree.
We have lots of depth but to take the next step the d core needs to acquire a top pairing dman. Just need 1 and it slots everyone better. This deal has been needed for quite some time. In the end its always a forward being acquired which does nothing but spin tires. |

I know I don't get it at all either. Krug was an offensive juggernaut in the playoffs.
I guess it is possible to move Krug with McAvoy capable of running the PP. But it better be a good hockey trade and the return more than worth it. |
